Trees are living organism and they have requirement as do most living organisms.
The roots are one of the most important part of a healthy tree and they require plenty of oxygen and water.
By adding organic matters with the soil, it will help retain moisture and has enough drainage for oxygen supply.
We have established a simple step by step guide to a tree planting.

Step1. Dig a hole twice the size of tree's roots.

Step 2. Add a mixture of soil 60% and organic matter 40% to bottom of hole so that top of tree's root is same line as surface level

Step 3. Fill the hole up to surface level with the same 60/40 soil mixture and just press firmly into ground around the tree's roots so it will not easly be blown over by wind.
Step
4. Stake the tree with a stake on both side of tree. Use a rubber strip
like an old bike tube that is soft and won't damage the bark. Allow some slight
movement.
Please remember to remove both Stakes after 12 months.
Add a 5cm layer of mulch on surface to help retain moisture and also for weed suppression.
